We came into Auckland at 4am NZ tme, We went straight from Thurs to Sat which was a bit weird, still trying to get used to the time difference, what time is it at home etc. The hostel we're staying at is lovely. The kitchen is great. We're going to be cooking in for the whole time we're in NZ (save some money!), well practically. and if all the kitchens are like this we'll be fine.
We didn't hear good things about Auckland before we came but it's actually a very nice city. If everyone else thought it was crap then we're in for a treat with the rest of NZ!

Both me and Kev brought colds with us from Santiago so we've just been lying low here in Auckland. It's so nice to have nothing to do but sit down and read a book, have got through several in the last few days. So we're just been cooking, eating and reading - bliss!! We're heading up to the Bay of Islands tomorrow so back on the road again!!
