Travelling back in time to the old town. Sapa - a beautiful, mountainous town in northern Vietnam along the border with China. An incredibly picturesque village, Sapa is famous for its rugged scenery and also its rich cultural diversity. It is host to many hill tribes, as well as rice terraces, lush vegetation, and Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam.

It took us 9 hours on train, to reach Sapa from Hanoi. An amazing experience i must say. Imagine, 6 beds crammed into a small cubicle! Not recommended for the claustrophobic.
