Bangkok

A journal entry from: See you next year!

The transition from South America via Amsterdam and Manchester to Asia has been hard for us. This is not due to the fact that we don't like it here. On the contrary, the weather is good, food is nice and travelling is easy. And as you can read in some following entries, there's nothing wrong with the Thai islands as well. Actually, we love it here!

But those first few days in Bangkok were hard because of this monstrous jet lag we had. Or at least, that's how we felt it. The first few days we just couldn't get up out of bed on a decent time. And worse, couldn't get to sleep at a decent time. But as things go with a jet lag, after a few nights lying awake in bed and seeing it getting light again, we gradually got used to this time zone. And after 6 days in Bangkok, which was a little more then we had anticipated, we were on our way again.

Greetings,
Roy

P.S. For all the people who left us messages and were worried that we hadn't posted anything new, that's because were to busy enjoying ourselves.
