Going to Brazil

Written on: Monday July 23rd, 2007

A journal entry from: See you next year!

In Corumbá, just over the border with Bolivia, we spent so much time updating websites, that we forgot to take any pictures. Oh! And getting used to the Brazilian language, food and most of all: warmth!

The border crossing was really weird, as the Bolivian officials told us we had to pay a certain amount of money for the exit stamp. We were warned that this could happen and that it shouldn´t cost us anything, so we politely told him that we had understood we didn´t have to pay anything. He looked at us, got up and left the room, while his colleague gave us the stamp. For free.
