After 4 months of seeing the most amazing, interesting, outrageous, surreal etc. sites during the day, but at the same time experiencing cold nights both in Argentina and the Peruvian Andes, we finally managed to take our fleeces off and wash them(!), while visiting  the jungle-like region of La Merced.

For the first time, travelling felt like a holiday, swimming in natural water baths surrounded by waterfalls and being invited for lunch by a group of about 15 male geologists who explored the area for work (so they said).

It sure tasted like more, but we had to wait for another month until we could leave our fleeces home again...
