Cambodia - Phnom Penh (Killing Fields) Photos

Jon's going to be a tuk-tuk driver when he's older.

Our view over Boeung Kak Lake.

We would sit on the bench and watch the bats swooping over the water.

Buddhist stupa as a Killing Fields memorial.

The stupa is full of more than 5,000 skulls.

The surroundings were the site of hundreds of mass graves, many of the dead were inmates of Toul Sleng (S21) prison.

S21. An old school used as a torture house and prison by the Khmer Rouge.

The photograph on the wall shows how the classroom (one of 12 like this) was found with a decaying body tied to the bed as you see it.

Inmates were hung upside down with their heads in filthy water (in the bowls) until near or actual death.

Converted classrooms.

Jon's free hair cut from a guy from Folkestone.

Sorry to be naked, but had to show you this. Bedbug bites. Over 250 of them in total on my back, legs, arms and hands.
