Siem Reap, Cambodia

Oh man, I love Siem Reap. Even though its incredibly touristy, be sure to visit Ankor Wat at sunrise and the mountain (name?) at sunset. So beautiful, you just have to try and keep the 1000s of other people out of your view.

Yes! I loved the Vespas too. After my trip I also really wished I had done a photo set of all the different Tuk Tuks around South East Asia. Every area seemed to have a distinct flavour of Tuk Tuk. I thought that'd be really fun to put together. Oh well, maybe next time!

In France from the age of 14 scooters are the thing to ride. Most of the kids we know from Castillonnes are riding around on them. They are so cool and I am not so it probably won't happen although Bob is interested in a trike! That scares me. Love your photos and blog. xoxoxox

Really enjoying reading and seeing your blog! Lots to talk about when you get back. Are you heading for the Mekong Delta now? We stayed at Chau Doc and loved it. Great restaurants. The floating market close to there is fabulous. Have fun.

Hi Greg and Marilyn: Came home to a cold house (-10 most of the time lately) on icy roads with a stuffy nose but now that Al's told us how to access your journals/albums, I can transport myself. Thank you for all of this sharing!

It is great to follow your journey guys! This is a fabulous way of sharing your trip while you're on it! Wish we were there. Please don't mention rain again - Victoria is about to be washed into the sea and Vancouver has not answered our calls! We've had 150 mm of rain already this month (what we average in January) and its only the 8th. Elizabeth is pissed off because it keeps customers at home. Hey I'm retiring in three months - what? me worry? You've made me want to spend some time in Laos.

Even in the rain, it looks fascinating. It is wonderful to be able to be only a few days behind you on this amazing journey. Happy New Year and love to you both.

Marilyn, sunbears are something i've always wanted to see... i've watched documentaries on them and it broke my heart to see what poachers are doing to them! The school you are volunteering at sounds amazing, it's neat to hear that people there willingly volunteer themselves to learn a little english. I am fascinated with all of your journal entries, and I can't wait to read more!

Hello from an Irishman & Canadian woman, in Hoi An. Enjoyed your Sapa write-up/photos. We're moving from Hoi An today, going to Saigon. New Years celebrations are in our rear view (didn't achieve The 12Pubs of Xmas but...) & mucho clothes have been purchased, so no reasons to stay longer. If time permits, I would advise going to Hue on your way down..in my view it's worth it just for Tu Duc Tomb alone. There will be more info on http://www.getjealous.com/tessmack Hopefully, we see you both again further into our travels
