This journal is part 1 of our year-off adventure. The Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy is located near Hurup Thy, in the Northwest corner of the Jutland peninsula of Denmark. It is a non-profit, independent, organization that provides research, development of technology, training and information for the manufacture, industrial innovation and implementation of renewable energy technologies and energy savings in Denmark and throughout the world.
We spent six months at the Nordic Folkecenter as volunteers and participated in their ongoing research and demonstration projects. http://www.folkecenter.net/gb/

Camping, exploring, learning, and volunteering along the way -we are surely to have many tales to tell...
