How to Prepare for Travel...Don't Do Our Errors!!

A journal entry from: test trip

Here's How:

Make sure your passport is in order and good for at least six months after you plan to return home.

Get visas, as needed, for the countries you'll be visiting.

Get medical insurance, if you are on Medicare or other like programmes.

Think of the place you wanted to go, and if you have decided where, the place then check the internet for tourist spots in that certain country. Research on the place so you wouldn?t get lost and it would be easier for you to check out the cool places they have.

Protection for your feet is top priority for any hike whether an hour, a day trip or a month. Footwear is not where you skimp on money or comfort. Buy from a store that specializes in top quality gear and has knowledgeable salespeople.

It is important to have plenty of space in front for the toes so when you are walking steeply downhill, your toes won't bang against the (usually) hard inside front of the boot.

Make certain that you have the correct clothing for the environment and the weather. Jeans are tough and do not snag easily.  Just always remember the different seasons need diverse types of outerwear.

Pack your kits in a rational manner into your backpack to help stay organized. Try to keep your required equipment close at hand, in the outer pockets or on your belt, or in pants pockets; for this will make it easy on you to get to whatever you may need fast.
