Motorcycle trip through the north-western USA (June 2008)

In the beginning of June 2008, my friend James and I set off to a 6000km motorcycle trip through the northwestern USA, following the Oregon Coast to the Redwood National Park before heading east. Through the Sonoma Wine Region, we saw Yosemite National Park as well as Death Valley. We hit las Vegas on our way to the Grand Canyon and drove back north through Utah, Montana and Idaho.
Notr everything went smooth, but then again: It would be boring if it did, right? We hit every weather imaginable, every road condition and terrain and met tons of interesting and memorable people.
