Europe 2012

Here we go again after a brief touchdown to visit friends and family with stops in Vancouver, Victoria, Summerland and Calgary. Our first stop is Paris and then it's off to Amsterdam to pick up a new to us VW camper van. Yes we are reliving our youth. We'll spend most of our time in France and Italy, in particular visiting the islands of Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily.

Four years later we are off on another big one. First S.E. Asia; Thailand, Laos, and possibly Myanmar then 4 months in Europe. As they say in S.E. Asia same, same but different.

We have spent the last three weeks opening mail, paying bills and visiting with friends and relatives. Now we have repacked our bags with warmer clothes and camping gear. First stop is Goteborg. Sweden to pick up our new Volvo V50 station wagon. After that Europe is our oyster. We'll point the steering wheel south and see where we end up.

We are off the S.E. Asia for about 31/2 months. Although we have traveled a lot we have never been in this part of the world. The unknown is always a great adventure
