Katoomba Pics + Coming Home

Written on: Tuesday July 31st, 2007

A journal entry from: Gareth's Australian Adventure

Hey Guys,

hope all is well.

Sorry I didnt update sooner like I said I was, just havent got round to going to the internet cafe.

Me and Anthony went to Manly yesterday and went to the beach! Yep, in mid-winter the weather was nice enough to enable us to chill on the beach. Its about 21c at the moment, but they reckon it'll get up to about 25c come Thursday (not bad for Winter!). Anyway, as you probably read from the blog title, I'm coming home. I fly out on the 6th August and get back home about 24 hours later. I would of liked to stay longer but I failed 2 out of the 12 modules on my college course and I only have until the 31st August to re-submit them, so I thought I'd better come home to sort it out.

Anyway, check out the photos I've uploaded which were taken on me and Ant's trip to Katoomba last Wednesday. We went to a place called Scenic World which is in the Blue Mountains region. It has the steepest incline railway in the world (a former coal mines railway) and 2 amazing cablecars. One even had a transparent glass floor - pretty frightening when you're so high up in the air!.

Anyway, enjoy the pics guys.

and if this is my last blog entry then I hope you've enjoyed reading it.

Thanks.

Cya Back Home!
