The holiday of Obon takes place between Aug 13th and 17th.
Many people in Japan travel back to their home towns for special dinners. It is believed that ancestors return home during this time and so families visit the grave sites to decorate.
Seeing as Bond Head is a little far off... I decided to spend Obon traveling with a friend/coworker. Here are the pictures and stories from that trip.
Thank-you to Iri for her photos and use of her camera. I forgot the battery for mine plugged in charging at home so we took turns using her camera to record the trip.

This is about the change of job and housing as Nova closed and I was hired by Language House Inc. Kind of an introduction of the setting before branching into the large adventures.
