Monument for the "Life of a Cherry Blossom"

Sadly I wasn't able to find any extra information on novelist Seiichi Funahashi and his book "Life of a Cherry Blossom." But this was a monument to remember his contribution to the literary world.

Monument of Li Naosuke

Naosuke-san was the 11th lord of Hikone and encouraged opening up trade with the U.S. However, he was killed in 1860 due to this political involvement. During his life he studied traditional Japanese arts such as tea ceremony and was well education.
