Stockholm

A journal entry from: November 2011 until...

Escaped from Norway to Stockholm, which seemed more European somehow. Certainly more lived in and, to me, livable.

Hosted by the very kind Piyush who made time in his busy schedule. Yet another great couchsurfing experience.

The old town was as most old towns are, quaint but now seeming to only exist for toursits.

The highlight was wandering around a couple of the (literally) thousands of islands in and around the city. It must be amazing in summer to cruise around in a boat checking them all out. Houseboat heaven.

Another great spot was the Skogskyrkogarden cemetry, a UNESCO listed place to push up daisies.

The photo museum was also worth a visit.
