I flew from New York direct to Bangkok.  Arriving late in the evening, I checked into a hostel and wandered around for a few hours to check out Koh San Road. Very jet-lagged, disoriented and overwhelmed, i didn't last long until i was ready for bed again.

Day two I found my friend mitch and we did some sight seeing.  We went to see the reclining buddah and walked around awhile, then enjoyed some nice massages later in the day.

I spent a few days in Bangkok with Mitch, checking out the city, seeing the markets, shopped a little, and made plans to head to the beach.
