I would also like to say that a part of my culture is TAKING CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT. They don't even recycle here and it is driving me nuts! Do you know how hard it is for me to throw away a plastic bottle?!!??!!? It's like punching a baby.

Its funny the things we take for granted here. Who would have thought the habit of recycling would be so ingrained in us that our inability to do it would result in KO'd kid?! crazy huh lol

Ha! Wait until the little rugrat starts to scream. It is interesting that only in the last decade have we taken on recycling wholeheartedly and how ingrained it already is. I will ride around with bottles in my car until I find somewhere to deposit them. How do you reconcile that we have a lively recycling program here but are still one of the greatest polluters in the world?
