A journal entry from: Costa Rica and Nicaragua

is it possible that 3 weeks have passed so quickly- or that so much has happened in them?

We arrived back in Costa Rica last night after a marathon trip. It started with an hour in the truck - me in the back racing over the roads at up to 20 km at times.4 hours to cross the border from Nicaragua - with 3 of those standing in a line in the hot sun. Then we finally got to Liberia to find out that the car rental had lost our reservation. a 14 hour trip for 300 km\

The coolest thing was that in Nicaragua - at the border I was running to the bank in the no mans land area and i heard someone call my name. It was a girl who used to be in our church in Costa Rica who has moved to the US. We had not seen her in 5 years. Quite amazing.

We stayed with Kathy and Darrel Grassman. Darrell is the head of Operation Mobilization for Central America and used to be in our church. It was a wonderful time to reconect, laugh and pray together. The timing again was amazing.

There were several people that we had hoped to see on our journey. One was a man who had come to know the Lord in our church here and who we really watching the Lord work in his life. On our second last morning, our hosts randomly mentioned that he had opened a restaurant nearby. We had a lunch meeting scheduled which we changed to that location.

Unfortunately Peter was in Venezuela when we were there but we had a great visit with his wife and parents which was wonderful. We are back in touch with Peter by email again.

One of our prayers was that we would see divine appointments and our days have been full of some amazing encounters.

Today was sad saying good bye a few minutes ago to Gonzalo and Gabby. Our visit was sooooo timely for them.

Onwards again
