Thanks for bringing my boom to Baja. Congradulations You discovered the real freedom of Mexico. I have been following your trip since you left. I worried that your culture shock at firstentering Tijuana would taint your experience.

It was interesting to read of your feelings as you crossed the border as I, too, cried. Can't explain the feeling...we met so many wonderful Mexican people and left so much unexplored. We lived in Page for six years (Joe was supt. there as well as at Grand Canyon). Sorry, there are no good places to eat in Page, unless things have changed. We are back in CA...on to the next adventure...buying a house!

Run for the boarder.

Hey guys, thanks for the comment on our blog! Other than the fact that we are stopping in Tepoztlan to do some Woofing and in San Cristobal to volunteer with indigenous groups, the route is almost the same. Would really like to ask you a few Q's about some of the specific roads you took... would you be willing to get in touch via email? michellestcyr@gmail.com Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Now was that really a campsite, it looks more like some resort you decided to camp in the middle of?...haha or maybe not! The ruins at Chichen Itza look amazing, very lucky to visit! Keep the amazing pics comming. Love the random animal and pollution photos Alayna!

Brings back memories of 30 years ago - Palenque was my favourite Mayan site, increadibly beautiful and unspoiled even with being a major tourist destination.

Your first pictures looked like the area we drove through today on the south west side of the north island of NZ. It is hard to imagine you travelling in Mexicao while we are exploring across the oceans...We have not seen surfing like in your previous blog, but wonderful beaches. Sailed in the Bay of Islands..you would have liked the gorgeous water! We also saw the boiling water pools and hot mud baths today...Keep up the great blog!

I spent 9 weeks living in Oaxaca city, studying spanish and exploring the surroundings. I hope you made it to Heurve D'Agua? It is outside of Mitla, a spring which litterally spouts from the side of a mountain cliff and for which they have built a pool on the edge of the mountain...very cool. Monte Alban? The ruins in Mitla? Stoked to see how far south you guys have made it. take your time coming home, the weather has only just now started to show signs of cleaning up, you guys can take atleast 2 more months before it will be nice here again! Consider visiting Morelia, lake Chapala and Copper Canyon on the way home! JZ
