Sorry we were writing a long one then this stupid apple computer lost it all so its going to be short and sweet.

Calcutta was much better than expected, clean, lots of backpackers, goat sacrifice, street food, crazy marble palace, victoria memorial
big issue with getting Claire out of the country. (may explain later if can be bothered!)

Hanoi: Pollution city, drunken nights out, snake eating, spring rolls, Ho Chi Minh's dead body, Pho, Seaseme chips, Helen burns herself on a hot motorbike exhaust 

Sapa: Up in the mountains, 3 day trekking, swimming in waterfalls and rivers, Chow our local guide who was amazing, pancakes for breakfast
motorbike rides, terraced rice paddies, very cute little kids, lots of women!

Halong Bay: Misty, junk boat trip, smuggling beers on the boat, sleeping on the deck, trekking up some mountain thing, very angry vietnamese drivers

 OK thats all for now ...we are off to enjoy the Loas new years celebrations and to get a boat to the gibbon experience.
