Last day in Japan!!! How sad. Woke up to "Pablo" ringtone. Packed our bags and checked-out at 10am. Bought bread from Andersan and coffee from Starbucks and stood around eating at Ueno station. We trained to Tokyo and waited for 30min for the next airport train. Caught the JR Nex Express train to Narita Airport. Took about 1 hour to get there. We had to go through 3 gates in order to enter the airport. 1- for JR gate. 2 - Narita Airport gate. 3 - airport security checkpoint (we had to show our passports to go in). Waaa security.

We returned our phone first and then I went to China Airlines to change my flight. Turns out there's a problem with my ticket and that i won't be able to change my connecting flight. I couldn't go to hk (couldve been at The Peak with Kerry, Chris, Chun etc the next night!!! =( ) so i had to go to the Cathay Pacific counter to cancel it. They had to make a phone call to Taipei so i could get a refund. This took 30min. arghh.. bit disappointed that i couldn't go to HK but i had so much fun in Japan anywayz so it wasn't too bad. Bought lots of souveniers $150AUD worth all in one go .... then quickly went to the Yahoo Internet Cafe to do a bit of emailing. I really wanted to buy a Samantha Thavase leather bag. 34200yen. Didn't have enough time to think so i didn't buy it coz we had to run to boarding!!! Ran to boarding gate again and just made it to our flight from Narita to Taipei. We got lunch on this flight - some beef stew. And i watched Sydney White in flight. The guy so cuteeee aiya...

We got off at Taipei around 8pm. Our flight to Sydney was 10.30pm. We had too much time to spare. We went to the transit lounge. So quiet... there wasn't anyone in sight. We cleaned up, brushed our teeth. Theres a shower there but we didnt bring clothes or towel so couldn't shower. Topspeck karen VS disabled derrian - the former on a travelator and the latter on foot. Had a race. Disabled Derrian defeated me again! nooooooo ahahha... We went upstairs and the duty free shops were still opened. Bought a few things again.

We boarded the plane at 10ish. The plane had to return back to the gate coz there were "mechanical difficulties". So scary!! What happens if it blew up? We sat there for about 15min while maintenance had the plane checked out. 15min later, the captain announced we'll have to switch aircrafts. So everyone in the plane had to unbuckle and take their bags and go back out to boarding lounge. So many ppl were out!!! So many ppl considering its a midnight flight. The crew informed us that the next flight would be at 12.50am. We were delayed for 2 hours. We sat around and moved to another gate where they gave us complimentary snacks and drinks while waiting. Re-boarded a different plane at 12.30am and took off fine for Sydney. They gave us a late dinner which was fish and noodles. Its so funny, we noticed the inflight entertainment magazine was changed to the March 08 Edition. On the "mechanical failure" plane it was Feb 08. And theres definitely some new movies in the March one! yayyy for us!

Slept though coz so tired. Watched Hitman (which i think is a cool movie - I played the game before - its quite good).... the guy who plays Hitman is good looking and he didn't get turned on by a naked body hmmz. Woke up, ate breakkie and watched Alvin and The Chipmunks!!!! Some passenger sitting near us had a nose bleed. He obviously didn't know what to do coz he was just holding a paper cup and letting the blood drip into it. Suppose to put pressure on the nose but he didn't. 2 crew members had to help him ... but it eventually stopped. I wonder how much blood he managed to collect during that drip. Ouch.
