A journal entry from: Asia
I am in Thailand and it is awesome. I am sorry if this blog entry is disjointed but I am recovering from a vicious hangover. I spent a week in Bangkok with my cousin Paradon and then took a trip on the train north to Chiang Mai, stopping at a number of places along the way. Bangkok is an amazing city. It is exceedingly crazy, kind of a more disfunctional Hong Kong where nothing runs on time or show up at all. This keeps things exciting.
After Bangkok I headed up to Phitsanulok where there was much partying and indulging in Thai buckets (a mixture of red bull, and a ton of other liquor, probably whiskey, and of course served in a bucket). I hit up some Thai clubs and made an interesting discovery: Thai people have absolutely no idea what I am talking about ever so I can pretty much say anything. Their response is always bewilderment or they just laugh at me. I did run into some lady boys, it can happen here very easily.
Now I am in Chiang Mai where I met up with Pete Lunka and Megan Lievesley. We partied last night so hard. Tomorrow I head to a town north of Chiang Mai called Pai, then I head north towards Laos. Hope all is well. Photos to come. Taker easy.
