A journal entry from: Southeast Asian Adventures!

We left Bohol and took a ferry over to the island of Negros, to the unexciting town of Dumaguete. Dumaguete was a lot nicer than Tagbiliran, with ocean front restaurants and shops. However, there wasn't a whole lot to do here - it was another middle-sized Filipino town with the usual fast food restaurants, malls, and not a lot else. It was just a 2 day stop over on our way to Sipalay. Although we did discover the delicious buko (coconut) pie. That was the highlight of Dumaguete.
