Upon arriving in Bangkok I headed to the famous Khao San Road area to find a place to stay. The housing is nice and cheap compared to Hong Kong, although certainly nothing special (still a step up from Mirador Mansion).

After being in the busy city of HK for a few days, I wasn't in the mood to stick around in BKK, and instead booked an overnight bus and boat to Ko Tao for some diving and sunshine.
