A journal entry from: Cycle Mexico - Panama

August 30th - 31st

The views while cycling from the last town to Usulutan were again beautiful. We crossed a major river called the Rio Lempa where we stopped to take some pictures. We didn´t arrive in Usulutan until after dark since we set off late. It was a bit difficult but we were rewarded with the lightning in the distance and the fireflies all around.

We managed to find a nice hotel, with a kitchen and dining table. Unfortunately, it was dirty everywhere and looked like it hadn´t been cleaned properly for years. Andy went to get some food and returned with some things from another fast food chain and a papusa. While getting the papusa on the side of the road a huge thunderstorm broke out but the papusa seller had a car and very kindly gave him a lift home so he was only slightly soaking when he returned. He also got the papusa for free!
