So I just found out that I'll be staying with one of my clostest friends while I'm in El Salvador! This is going to be so great since 1) I don't speak spanish YET 2) I'm going to be soooooo homesick 3) I love Vivian so much!

I'll be living with a woman named Reina de la Paz. This is literally tranlated as Queen of Peace. Isn't that amazing?! Why can't my name be as beautiful?

I saw some more friends yesterday which was really great. It was so hard to say goodbye. I'll be doing a lot more of that in the next few days. But it was so great to spend time with people that I care about. Pizza, cafe lattes, cheeseburgers, cards, hugs. I couldn't ask for anything more!

I'm also really happy to be flying down with Ritha, the other intern who also joined last minute. As I stated in my post about culture, we're pretty much going through all of the same things at the moment, down to our parents' comments/reactions. It really helps to know that I'm not alone. I love you Ritha!

This going to be such a great summer! The summer of Alice has arrived! (You've got to be a Seinfeld fan to understand the last statement lol).
